The festival is organised by the State Parks; the Center for Wooden Boats; Camano Sail and Power and the Recreation Commission. The festival will feature exciting activities such as racing, sailing, games, music, boat-building workshops, sailings lessons, crabbing and fishing.
The event will be held from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm on both days of the festival. Races will be held on both days of the festival. If weather conditions do not permit racing, they may be postponed to 3rd September. The awards will be handed out on the eve of the second day of the festival.
A Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to the event, but admission to the event is free. Food and drinks stalls are available for purchase.
Rowboats, kayaks, and sailboats will be available for rent from The Center for Wooden Boats.
The Cama Beach State Park has more than 6,000 feet of rocky beach, with the 433-acre historic fishing resort. The park provides beautiful views of the Whidbey Island, Olympic Mountains and the Saratoga Passage.
