Seven Seas Explorer® is an ultra-luxurious cruise ship built by Fincantieri of Italy for Regent Seven Seas Cruises. She doesn’t have staterooms but all-balcony suite accommodation.
The ship was christened on July 13, 2016, in Monaco and started her maiden voyage same day evening. Her godmother is Charlene, Princess of Monaco. Seven Seas Explorer is claimed to be the most luxurious ship ever built to sail the seven seas. One can experience the elegance and sophistication ever dreamt of on the sea.
Seven Seas Explorer will begin sailing to the Caribbean from Florida this December. She will carry only 750 guests (while many large liners of its size carry over 5,000). The ship boasts of offering the highest space ratios in the cruise industry. The exclusivity of the cruise on Seven Seas Explorer will be – the elite guests in the luxurious Regent Suite will enjoy a private luxury car with a driver and a guide at every port, business or first class (depending on availability) airfare, a private car transfers to and from the airport (place of joining cruise), and even day to day needs like – unlimited laundry during the stay on board.
The expansive elite suite of 4,443 sq. ft. is equipped with spa retreat inside, full sauna, ceramic heated relaxation loungers and multi-jet shower. But it’s meant only for the rich ones, as it costs $10,000 a night per couple. The lavishly decorated two-bedroom suite on the deck with exotic woods, handcrafted exclusive furnishings, a golden chandelier and floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the sea views. Friends whilst on the cruise can be entertained in your suit itself at a well-stocked marble bar with black lacquered stools. It has all exotic liquors or you can list out your choices before boarding. The wine list features more than 150 varieties from 10 countries!
For those who love to play their own music and relax with the partner, it offers a custom Steinway Arabesque piano. Else enjoy at the media centre for a music of your choice, which also has a collection of limited-edition art books, artefacts, and Murano glass bowls. Otherwise, watch HD TV in the master bedroom as well while sipping scotch and munching snacks of your choice. It has a total of nine types of suites depending upon your choice and budget, but of course for elite class only.
When it comes to dining experience on the ship, it features signature dining venues – Compass Rose, La Veranda, and Sette Mari. Guests can dine wherever and with whoever they want. Room service is available 24-hours a day, from Compass Rose menu. The dining menu has French, Persian, Continental dishes, and a chef’s special menu that features dishes expertly prepared using both classic and modern techniques.
