Sunseeker is set to launch its new major model, the Manhattan 66, at the London Boat Show in January 2017. The London Boat Show is scheduled to take place from 6-15 January, 2017.

The new model follows the success of the Manhattan 52, which was introduced in autumn and so far has secured retail sales worth £30 million. The 66 model borrows some of the styling cues from the smaller 52 model. The larger dimensions of 66 have reportedly given more room for customisation and room for introducing new features.

Manhattan 66 Features

The Larger Dimensions of the boat:  The new model is committed to maintain an unrivaled position in the portfolio of luxury performance yachts from 50-155 ft. The Manhattan 66 comes with a panoramic deep v hull, saloon windows, and an open-plan layout with more space on board, which adds an airy feel. The galley has the flexibility to be installed at the main deck level or below, which helps in creating more entertaining space in the main saloon.

The Beach Club: The fly bridge design spells entertainment and relaxation, and has Portuguese-bridge bow seating. There are large sunbathing areas and a wet-bar. The bathing platform is capable of launching a Williams 385 Jet RIB and there is also a facility to transform, beach club, and has an optional barbeque and overhead rain shower. There are en suite facilities in the twin berth crew cabin. There are four cabins below and also has a master cabin with its own private stairway to the saloon.

Manpower: The boat is powered by twin MAN 1000hp/1200hp engines on shaft drive or Volvo Penta IPS-1200. The boat can cruise at 25 knots and achieve a full throttle of 34 knots.

Awards and Expansion

The 15th annual Walpole British Luxury Awards took place on the 14th November at The Dorchester in London. The awards celebrate the best in craftsmanship, innovation, and design from the luxury industry (from all sectors). Sunseeker was awarded The Champion of British Manufacturing at Walpole British Luxury Awards. Sunseeker International CEO, Phil Popham, was elated at the recognition and said it was a very rewarding experience.

Sunseeker also recently announced an investment of £50million over five years for the new products, improving facilities, and new recruits. They are committed to offer the best in class service to their customers.
