Mega Yachts To Be Displayed At Monaco Yacht Show

Every year the yachting industry eagerly waits for the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS), which is closely associated with the world’s biggest superyachts.

This year it is being held from 27th to 30th September. During MYS 125 stunning vessels from all over the world will be docked at Port Hercules, Monaco, a place where one can get to see almost all biggest, bet, and technologically advanced yachts.

Following are a few of the mega-yachts that will draw attention at MYS this year –

Jubilee is the largest yacht to be built by Oceanco, Holland. Measuring 360-foot long, the exterior is designed by Lobanov Design and beautiful interior by Sorgiovanni Design. The Hull is of steel, superstructure made of aluminum, and deck material is teak. Powered with 2 x 4,828hp MTU engines having a range of 5000 nm with an economical cruising speed of 14 knots. It can accommodate 31 guests on board in 15 double occupancy and one single occupancy cabins.

Aquarius by the Dutch yacht builders at Feadship measures 300-foot long. It has a wonderful combination of modern and conventional design. The interior design of Aquarius was conceived jointly by Sinot Design (the owner’s design team), and the Feadship DE Voogt Naval Architects with dedicated efforts of two full years by both teams. The calm and soothing interior with English sycamore, silk carpets, smooth leather, and ivory onyx marble gives a sense of timeless luxury.

Areti is a 278-foot long megayacht built by Lürssen, Germany. She did her maiden season cruising in the Mediterranean and now being displayed to the public at this year’s MYC. Her exterior and interior is designed by the London-based Winch Design and features an elegant exterior with a classical and fresh interior. Has a very large master suite and eight additional guest suites.

Legend is a 252-foot long expedition yacht and has a range of over 7,640 nautical miles. She has a certified helipad, an ice-breaking hull. Legend has the capability of cruising through the world’s remotest oceans. She was first launched way back in the year 1974. She won Best Rebuild Project at the World Superyacht Awards 2017. The Legend can accommodate 26 guests in total and offers a wide range of entertainment options like a gym, spa, pool, and movie theatre.
