Japan Builds PMA Approved New Vessel
Nissho Shipping Co., Ltd. will own a new vessel that is being built at Japanese shipyard Naikai Zosen Corporation. The vessel is going to be the first one to get approval from PMA – the Panama Maritime Authority.
Technical assistance from ClassNK helped to obtain the certificate which was issued for a new 27,200 dwt open-hatch bulk carrier that will be delivered to Nissho Shipping in the fall of 2012.
